I’ve been trying so hard to avoid spoilers for future volumes of OreImo – I stopped watching Season 2 after episode 4 (although I didn’t find it as good as Season 1 anyway) – but reading anime blogs and fora as I do it turned out to be impossible to avoid learning the ending of the anime . . .
NanoDesu – I think you said before you haven’t watched any of the anime, is that right? Season 1 is well-animated and funny – you should watch it! Have you read up to end of Volume 12 now or are you only reading them as you translate them?
I’ve been watching Watamote on Crunchyroll recently. Like OreImo it has black humour, a self-centered otaku heroine (but without Kirino’s social skills) and a long-suffering brother voiced by Yuuichi Nakamura who voices Kyousuke in OreImo.
If you right-click when watching anime on Crunchyroll, there is an option to disable subtitles. I thought that might be useful to know for anyone trying to learn Japanese.
Looking forward to volume 6 in pdf 🙂 I really do appreciate what you are doing, NanoDesu!
I’m surprised that so many people picked Ayase chasing them… I thought people would want Kirino’s motivation which helped her become successful….. she basically has the one skill that allows her to get through almost everything……..2nd would be Kyousuke’s family, cause then I’d get my own Kirino-chan XD

Kirino’s motivation for sure, but NOT her forbidden love 👿

Yeah I’m translating as I read… it’s pretty hard to avoid spoilers on my side too.
